Alfendi woke up in his apartment, his maroon hair sticking out in all directions as he ran his slender fingers through the thick locks with a sharp inhale. Exhaling just as harshly, he looked out the window in surprise. He didn't remember falling asleep in his bed, let alone his apartment. The last thing he remembered was seeing Lucy bid him goodbye with a small kiss on his forehead, telling him she had to leave for the day. "Lucy..." the inspector mused, peeling himself out of bed to put on his lab coat and tie his hair back again. The two hadn't been going out, but they had gotten closer thanks to letting his true side out for the whole day and it didn't startle the young detective constable, much to Alfendi's relief.
